Lucid Help Desk Evaluation Download

The Lucid Help Desk application requires Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) Version 2.81.  MDAC Version 2.81 is already installed on Windows XP with Service Pack 2.  It is difficult to determine if MDAC is installed on your system.  If you need assistance, please see the "Frequently Asked Questions" section of the following Microsoft link:   

Download Instructions:

1. Download the file(s)
2. First, install MDAC 2.81, if needed:  Run "MDAC_TYP_EN.EXE" file and follow the instructions
3. Install Lucid Help Desk:  Run 'HelpDesk800.exe' and extract to a temporary directory. 
4. Double-click on the 'SETUP.EXE' file to install the application.
5. When asked for a Serial Number, enter 'DEMO'
6. Start the program.
7. Two User IDs are included with the program: 'admin' and 'user'.  The password is the same as the User ID
8. A Help File is included with the application.
